The MetroWest ESL Fund is the fundraising organization that provides private financial support for classes for the Framingham Adult ESL Plus program.
This fund was created in 1999 by area business leaders to address the overwhelming demand for English classes for residents of the Commonwealth at Framingham Adult ESL Plus (FAESL+). Over the years, we have been successful in raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund classes for thousands of adult students throughout Massachusetts.
Since 1999, FAESL Plus has expanded its programming to include remote classes, both morning and night classes in Framingham and Milford, citizenship preparation classes, GED classes, wraparound advising services, and community involvement opportunities.
All of this would not be possible if it weren't for the support raised annually by the MetroWest ESL Fund.

"Learning English is... Basic. We cannot grow or grow a business, or do anything if you cannot communicate... I feel as if I'm independent today. I don't need anyone to do anything for me.
Mexico
"When I came to the United States, it was very challenging... I was not able to understand what people were saying to me the way I do now. Now, I actually work for FAESL+."
Egypt
"I decided to learn English for my life, for jobs... I am very very happy now... I am love! Before that, I (was) mad, sad, because I (didn't) speak English... Now, you understand me, and I understand you."
